Abstract
This article is devoted to the current state of impurities problem in liquid crystals. It reviews the influence of impurities content on properties of liquid crystals (LC) and materials containing LC. Methods of the impurities determination for mesogens are discussed. The main focus is made on the works, carried out by the authors.
