SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS

Research interests include physics of liquid crystals and thin organized films, optics of non-homogeneous anisotropic media, photon crystal based microlasers, spectroscopy and stark-spectroscopy, physics of ferroelectric films.

Serguei P. Palto published over 180 scientific papers in leading Russian and International journals, holds more than 10 patents.
