Abstract
Sorbtion and selective properties of a composite liquid crystal sorbent on the basis of achiral smectic-nematic 8 OCB, macrocyclic chiral β-cyclodextrin with methyl groups and nanoparticles of silica in conditions of distributive capillary gas chromatography are investigated. It is shown, that the investigated sorbent is universal isomerselective sorbent, dividing structural and optical isomeres in temperature mesophase areas (SA, N). Structural selectivity is caused by a liquid crystal matrix of a sorbent, whereas enantioselectivity caused by interaction of enantiomeres with macrocyclic additive.

Keywords: composite sorbent, liquid crystal, β-cyclodextrin, nanoparticles of silica, capillary gas chromatography, isomerselectivity, enantioselectivity
