Abstract The synthesis and mesomorphic properties of acyclic compound based on 1,3-bis(p-aminophenoxy)benzene were carried out and studied. The compound structure was established using the data of mass-spectroscopy, IR- and NMR-spectroscopies. The research of the mesomorphic properties shows that this compound possesses mesomorphic properties at heating and cooling.
