Abstract
The article analyzes the literature data on the negative effects of acoustic noise on the human body and the means of protection against it. The effectiveness of noise protection depends on the nature and structure of the sound protecting material, as well as its interaction with acoustic waves. The value of the acoustic absorption coefficient of known fibrous materials and the ones developed by the authors, which contain carbon nanotubes is defined. The increased efficiency of the developed materials in comparison with the known materials is shown and the role of the individual factors: density, porosity, number of layers and the method of preparation of the fibrous base, as well as the immobilization of carbon nanotubes under the influence of acoustic waves in different frequency intervals is analysed.

Keywords: fibrous base, strain, diffraction, diffusion, signal attenuation, individual defense, interferometer, porosity, structure, carbon nanotubes, noise
