Electro-Optical and Dynamic Properties of Polarization Holographic Gratings Generated in LC-Composites

Abstract Results of the experimental study of electro-optical and dynamic characteristics of polarization holographic gratings generated in liquid crystal composites (LC-composites) are presented. Field dependences of the diffraction efficiency for various conditions of grating formation and LC-composite geometry are obtained. Response times for the operating electric field are defined. Influence of parameters of the operating field on electro-optical and dynamic characteristics of polarization holographic gratings is shown.
