Abstract
Investigations of floating layers of Fe(III) complexes and Langmuir-Blodgett films on their base were carried out. It was shown that the orienting effect of magnetic field in Langmuir monolayer, as well as the possibility to form a biaxial multilayer film, depends on a chemical structure of both ligands and gegenions.

Keywords: iron complexes, Langmuir monolayers, multilayer films, Freedericksz effect, structure
