Abstract
Researches and developments in the area of liquid crystals (LC), that were presented at the 25th International Liquid Crystal Conference in Dublin, Ireland (30 June – 4 July 2014), are described. Apart from information on basic researches, LC applications in the area of displays, organic electronics, electromechanical systems are demonstrated.
