Abstract
Meso-alkyloxysubstituted tetraphenylporphine metallocomplexes have been synthesized. The individuality of compounds has been established by the physico-chemical methods of study: elemental analysis, IR-, 1H NMR and electronic spectroscopy. Their mesomorphic properties have been investigated by means of polarizing spectroscopy.
