Abstract
For practical purposes, the prediction of non-Newtonian fluid's flow in pipes is important. Modern methods of approximate calculations allow us to calculate the volume flow rate and flow velocity dependence on the distance from the wall of the cylindrical channel. Results for the flow of structured systems obeying a generalized flow equation are compared with the calculation of similar parameters of the data fitting by a power law.

Keywords: non-Newtonian fluids, flow in pipes, generalized flow equation
