Abstract
Reduced coordinates are often used for experimental data linearization. Rheological data are approximated by a straight line on a certain range of shear rate or shear stress. Approximate form of generalized flow equation makes it possible to define linear dependence on the middle range in the root coordinates η1/2 – τ1/2. The possibility of linearization of the rheological data for molten polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene, a polymer solution, an aqueous suspension of polyvinyl acetate is shown.

Keywords: dispersed and polymer systems, non-Newtonian flow, generalized flow equation, linearization, reduced coordinates
